What Would Hitler Do? (WWHD?)
August 16, 2008
Do Christians ever stop and think what their beliefs imply? Take for instance the concept of original sin. According to Christian dogma, we are all condemned to burn in hell from the time of conception because of Adam’s and Eve’s sin. You are being held accountable and punished for crimes you haven’t committed. God will torture you for eternity because you’re related to Adam. Is this just? Is this moral?
If we assume God is all-good and always acts justly and morally, then genocide is also moral and just. In the Christian God’s eyes, the merciless killing of an entire race (Men, Women and infants) as punitive measure for the transgressions of one man, is moral and warranted. Imagine Hitler a moral icon. What would Hitler do (WWHD)? All Hitler would need to excuse his gruesome genocide, is one crooked Jew.
Since the Christian God is assumed to be all-knowing; he must have known that Adam would sin before creating humanity. So God was looking forward to torturing you for eternity. Not only that, he looked forward to having his only begotten son, Jesus, beaten to a pulp and crucified. His own son!!!
This Gods total apathy towards human suffering, more accurately phrased, lust for human suffering, can only be deemed as evil. To say “God is love” and “God loves you” is absurd and deceitful.
Frankly, if you get your morals from the god of the bible, you’re basically an evil piece of shit.

You are not condemned because you are a son of Adam. You are condemned because though you are a sinner, you refuse the forgiveness that God freely offers you.
Jesus did not die on the cross for His own sins; He never sinned. Jesus willing suffered for your sins and for my sins when he went to the cross in our place. If you reject the forgiveness that God offers and you end up suffering because you refuse His love, you have no one to blame but yourself.
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Notice I this blog concerns itself with the concept of original sin. If you don’t believe in original sin that’s great cause I don’t either.lol. The idea not part of Jewish theology, some argue it is implied in Psalms 51:5 and Psalms 58:3.
It is the idea that men are born sinners. In Romans 5:12 Paul states that the cause of human death is due to sin. Man is condemned by God to death because of sin. However Jesus died on the cross. If he was born with out sin and lived without sin why did he die?
But please when arguing please don’t preach with out substance. If you will notice there was a rational train of thought in my argument. This was absent in yours.

I did not say that there is not original sin. I said that you are not condemned because of original sin. You are condemned because though God offers you forgiveness for your sin, you refuse the forgiveness that God has provided for you.
Jesus suffered and died for your sin, not for His. He willing paid the price for your sin – death – for the wages of is death but the gift of God is eternal life.
Jesus willingly laid down His life in your place so that you might be saved. He willingly took the punishment that you and I deserve so that we can be forgiven.
But that fact that the Old Testament clearly teaches that there is original sin is evident in these verses:
“…but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.” [Gen 2:17]
So all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years; and he died.
So all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years; and he died.
So all the days of Enosh were nine hundred and five years; and he died.
So all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years; and he died.
So all the days of Mahalalel were eight hundred and ninety-five years; and he died.
So all the days of Jared were nine hundred and sixty-two years; and he died.
So all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred and sixty-nine years; and he died.
So all the days of Lamech were seven hundred and seventy-seven years; and he died.
So all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years; and he died.
Paul is exactly right when he says, “Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned…”
And sin has also infected you and I for we also will die.
For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life.

God is not against you. He is for you. God does not hate you, He loves you. Jesus paid the price for your sin so that you can be forgiven. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
We all must stand before God one day and give account for our lives before a holy God. Jesus is offering to stand with you. He is offering to be your advocate. Your layer. Your defense attorney. He will stand with you on that day if you will come to Him and confess that you are a sinner and ask Him to forgive you.
His defense for you on that day of judgment will not be that you are not guilty – we are all guilty. But His defense for you will be that the punishment for your sin has already been paid. Jesus already took the punishment for your sin when He died for you on the cross.
You would not go into a human court without an attorney. Don’t go into that final court on your own. Ask Jesus to stand with you on the that day and He will.

Are you trying to convert me? LMAO. You can only change my mind through evidence and reason, not by mindlessly reciting fairy tales. Thank you for the following verse. You reinforced my point for me:
“…but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.” [Gen 2:17]”
The reason all humanity dies, according to your belief, is because Adam and eve sins. God punished Adams entire lineage, for transgressions they did not commit. That was the flaw in your god’s character I was pointing out. whether or not you have an interpretation that differs from the “Original sin” the large majority of Christians believe in is irrelevant.
Jesus never sinned, how could he have died if he was not contaminated by sin? You are contradicting yourself. If we die because of our own individual transgressions, then Jesus should have been immortal. The only way Jesus’s death makes sense if your God condemned all of Adams descendants to suffer the price of his sins.

You know it is rather funny that when Eve took of the forbidden fruit, nothing happened as least that is what the scripture says. But when Adam took of the forbidden fruit, his eyes were open and he was ashamed because he discovered that he was naked. Part of the curse of eating the forbidden fruit was death – that could mean physical death as well as spiritual death. But the seed of sin started with Adam and has been passed through generations to all mankind and that is why Jesus did not have Earthly Father – he could not have that seed of sin in his DNA. But I wanted to point out that even though there was an original sin and has impacted every single one of us and every living thing on this Earth, God does not judge us according to what Adam did or according to what our forefathers did. God judges us for what we do.
Look at Enoch – he didn’t go to Hell nor did he die, God took him to heaven because of his righteousness. What about Elijah, he didn’t taste death or Hell. What about Moses? The Bible says in the New Testament, that Michael the archangel and Lucifer were fighting over the body of Moses… but guess what, he showed up on Mount Transfiguration with Elijah and Jesus. It doesn’t sound like Moses went to Hell, but rather he went to Heaven.
God doesn’t look forward to sending anyone to Hell.
As a matter of fact Hell was made for Lucifer and his legions of demons. But knowing how much God loved humanity, Lucifer wanted to bring that same pride that destroyed his position in heaven and destroyed humanity with it. It worked didn’t it. He told Eve that she would be just like God if she took of that fruit. She didn’t become God, she became like Lucifer, a fallen creation.
Our definition of fairness and justice does not equate with God’s definition of fairness and justice. I don’t believe God is sending thousands of people who have zero understanding of Him to hell. That is not his character. And he is not sending infants and children to hell – in the Jewish law, the age of accountability started at the age 7, so children under that age automatically were destined to go to heaven if they died under the age 7. God is not a Christian, so therefore, the theory that only Christians go to Heaven and everyone goes to Hell is bogus. I think people will be shocked to find out who exactly is going to make it and who is not going to make.

Sweetheart(I’m not trying to belittle you or insult you or your intelligence),your reasoning is so twisted you are not even able to realize it. It happens to the best of us. I thought as you at one time myself. I’m not better than you by any means.
First you have yet to find any evidence that these fantastic stories in the bible are true. In fact the creation myth has been proven erroneous by modern science. And if one story is proven false, why cant it completely be false? There is zero evidence that God exists. And on top of that your just repeating what they told you in bible school with out really analyzing whether it is logical.
God is supposedly the first cause to everything. This is what makes him God. He is the metaphoric first domnino that triggered the rest of the dominos to fall. How is it your not holding him accountable? He sure as hell holds you accountable for the supposed sinful nature you inherited by no fault of your own. By the way how is that an all powerful has no control over his universe? How is is that sin happened. If he is perfect than everything he does should be perfect, all his creation should be perfect. But it is not. He was not powerful or intelligent enough from prevent sin from happening? If you are all-powerful and all-knowing what can possibly impede you from fixing this sin problem without making people suffer for eternity? What impedes you from instanty zapping humans sinful nature away? What? He can do anything right? I can think of plenty, and I am but a mere mortal. But Please read the comment below for more details.

Just a quick question to you: If you were God, what do you think the punishment for sin should be, or should there be a punishment when people do wrong?
On your statement that God knew all but still allowed sin to take place must make him not a very caring, moral God. It is interesting how you overlook that in the Old Testament, God told the Hebrews on how to be set free from sin was by sacrificing a innocent lamb. And then in the New Testament the sacrifices came to a halt for the believers of Christ when Jesus the innocent lamb died on the cross once and for all. Once again God made a way for people to be set free from their sins. I don’t see these sacrifices as a statement from a God who doesn’t care nor do I see it as a God who wants to send people to hell. As a matter of fact, it looks like just the opposite is taking place. God is trying to help people escape hell by allowing these atonements to take place. Without shedding of innocent blood there can be no forgiveness of sins. Only someone who is completely innocent of any wrong doings and of any particular sins has the ability to forgive and change the rules of the game. Than that individual has the power and the right to do as they please.

LOL. Trying to save people from hell? First off God supposedly knows everything right? He is omniscient right? That means when he created Lucifer he was well aware he would rebel and corrupt 1/3 of heavens angels. That would mean when he created Adam/Eve he knew they would sin. Why would he allow Satan/snake in the garden if he knew Eve and Adam would sin? He could have saved himself, his son and humanity a lot of grief? But he didn’t. He allowed everything to occur. Why the need to send your son to die when you could just done things differently? He could have created Lucifer, Adam and Eve so that they wouldn’t commit the so called “Sins”. This would mean either God didn’t know better, couldn’t have prevented it, was incompetent, or is an Evil jerk. He could have easily pardoned Adam and Eve and just fixed the problem instead of allowing the rest man kind to suffer. If god allowed sin to flourish then he is not perfect and flawed as us humans. Which makes sense, since flawed humans invented gods.
What you fail to realize is that this god would be absolutely ultimately responsible for everything that occurs in our universe because he is the first cause to everything. We don’t hold children as accountable for their crimes as we do adults. We hold adults more accountable for their actions because they know better. So I suppose the bible’s all-knowing God should be held even more accountable for his supposed actions. We should judge him at least as an adult. Why do you try so hard to excuse the ridiculous nature of this fictitious god? It is obvious you are avoiding facing the reality that this is all nonsense. It doesn’t make any sense. These are fairytales written by an ignorant ancient culture. My point is the bibles story doesn’t even hold up to simple scrutiny. It is a flawed perspective written by flawed humans. I would at least expect the story to make sense if it is the work of a perfect being.
